Reclassifying up a year is not the same thing as graduating in December. I thought that was what Baylor did not allow, December graduation?
I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong, but to be accepted as a student at UT, you must first graduate HS. If a student reclassifies to graduate a year earlier, then they must complete the required 4 years of HS classes in 3 years. That sounds like a daunting challenge even if you start with that plan in 9th grade.

It's not that difficult these days. Most schools are on block scheduling. That's 8 credits per year. Plus availability of online classes including DE classes. But yes, you do have to complete a high school degree before getting admitted to college.

Don’t doubt what you are saying, but unless he’s been working towards graduating early for a couple years then I don’t see any way he can pull that off this late in the process at an elite academic prep school like a Baylor?

I don’t know anything for sure, and I certainly don’t know baylor’s policy. I was told there were a few options being discussed, possibly aided by partially schooling in Canada for HS

Where is the info coming from that he may or can reclassify? DGG, Baylor, UT?

Unless you are hearing something specific from one of those I would consider it click bait.

I was actually accepted to college without completing HS. It wasn't UT, but it was a Tennessee college and HS.

Its crazy that Baylor brings talent from all over the country and Canada and doesnt make it as easy as possible to graduate early.

Maybe he could transfer second semester to graduate early.
I am not sure what requirements he would have to meet to get out early. He’s ready physically right now. Beast of a running back.
