What's interesting is I read a piece from an Ohio State site about his recruitment and they didn't even mention us as a contender for him. They acted like they were the favorite and listed about 10 other teams they saw as contenders.

That's a poor way of using our funds. We've proven we can take RBs that aren't highly rated and get them to produce at a high level. I'd rather spend money on other positions where the premium on elite talent in more rare.

Signing one elite RB is fine. Signing two is just dumb in this day and age of NIL. The days of Saban or Pete Carroll signing 3 five star RBs in the same class are over.
