'25 TN RB Daune Morris (Tennessee)

Oakland has played a lot of talented defenses and living in Murfreesboro, I've naturally seen him a ton this season. With him missing time, Craig Tutt finally got his chance to be a true RB in their offense and he was too good to take out. To work with this, Kevin Creasy at Oakland found a lot of unique ways to use him as a receiver to get him the ball and he's really taken a step there this season. He is a true versatile weapon even more so now and adds a different element to the future of the RB room IMO. Teammates will love him too. He's gotten significantly bigger from last year as well so not too much you can complain about here.

Great to see another home state kid commit to the Vols, especially after some big time recruits chose to take their talents elsewhere in recent years. And, I read that he is a fellow Chattanoogan who played at Red Bank before his family moved to Murfreesboro. Red Bank was my school's biggest rival back in the Dark Ages, and RB provided UT with another great running back 2 decades ago---anyone remember Gerald Riggs?

Riggs is back in Chattanooga area. He's coaching RBs at Cleveland now

Thanks for the update, allvol. I also went to school in Cleveland and was married there, so I try to follow recruiting activities in that area. I saw where the Lady Vols recently landed a big time dual sport recruit from Cleveland. GBO!!

So is this kid good or what?…give me the skinny who is he comparable to?…Alvin Kamara ?

Like the pickup, good size very quick twitch and he's got great speed. 4.5 seems to be the most common 40 I can find for him, but that's about a year old.

One good off-season in our S&C program and I'd say this guy will be in the 4.4s
