'26 TN QB Jared Curtis (Georgia commit)

As a Georgia fan, what do you think?
I think it’s media smoke. If he wanted a higher NIL offer he had the chance to secure it with Oregon this summer. Either way, he wouldn’t be the first and won’t be the last 5 star QB who flirts with UGA only to move on last minute. Manning and Raiola did it. But we found a way to develop Gunner into a winning QB.
Bobo has been much improved this season and we haven’t needed a playmaker to take over a game very often. If Curtis doesn’t come to UGA I expect it will be Gunner in 26, Puglisi or Montgomery in 26/27, and Wade in 28.
In the end, Kirby has his way of finding what’s best for the team.

He aint 💩 in the nfl. Last good qb uga had was stafford. Highly rated high schoolers that play wr and qb and have a real goal of making it to the league, uga isnt the place for you.
Has lasted longer than Hooker. And Ladd and Bowers say hello from the NFL as far as pass catchers go.

Vandy is fantastic college to go to.
Hello Nashville?
They have a great coaching staff and Clark Lea puts his QB in good position to make plays. Look what hes done with Pavia. With Curtis he can accomplish even more.

No they don’t have the 109,000 screaming fans like we do, but they have their own culture there.

And his family gets to watch him play Tennessee ever year.

What Vandy QB is in the NFL? All I’m saying is that’s a silly reason when the other option is Vandy

I mean I think he’s dumb if he goes to Vandy instead too. But at least he’s staying at home, I guess that’s the appeal there. Make money at home, Vandy can dish out more than UGA for a QB, they’d be more willing to give a bigger chunk of their nil for a QB than UGA who wants to spread it around. They’re delusional with the Pavia stuff that you only need a QB, they completely ignore other players on their teams that have been way more of a reason for their success.

Pavia is their engine. He's their leading rusher too. Sometimes is best to carve your own path, and maybe that's what he wants to do.
