Finished 10th in ‘23. 13th this year with only 21 commits. Most likely top 10 with more commits.

So yeah prob right around 8-12 again and that depends on numbers. Just my guess.

Per reports and insiders, his biggest thing is the relationship with the HC, which he has a solid one with CJH and, from what I read, a good one with Saban as well. But with Saban now out of the picture, he hasn’t had time to develop anything with Deboer. So, considering he’s announcing Monday, that’s a great sign and tells me he’s not giving Deboer a chance. Add that to the report from VQ that he’s actively recruiting guys to come to TN, this kid is a Vol.

The difference between 6 and 10 is so small. 1-2 high end players can be the difference in roughly 3-7 spots. And to this point we havent broken into the single digits. I do think we will this year.

All depends on the season.

Two years ago, with our great season, we capitalized a bit...as much as we could; but, we were still under investigation...plus, the staff were still getting their feet wet in a lot of ways with most of those recruits. Now, the relationships are a year or two old, kids have a big enough sample size of Heupel's vision and direction...and, if we come out and play like gangbusters and have a great season...

From G-Mac himself, he has said that one of his biggest things was a good relationship with the head coach. He had that with both Saban and Heupel. Saban transferred out and if he was still looking to go to Alabama, he likely would have pushed back his commitment to get to know DeBoer but he didn't. Therefore, he is all vol (And Bama sucks).

It was highly regarded that he had the best relationship with Heupel and was long thought the Vols lead for several months. Was consistently mentioned we were the best positioned. Doesn’t matter now since Saban is gone, but he was going to be a Vol regardless.
