'27 TN QB Andre Adams

Tennessee has yet to offer, but he could end up being a guy they push for. Just hard to convince a big time QB who will be catered to in the process to follow a guy that was #1 overall for a lot of the process. He's taken a huge step this offseason and looks taller, more built, and cleaned up mechanics. Should be in store for a strong season. Saw him workout at UA Nashville and he killed it. Stood out the most for the present (Ty Snell was arguably right behind but naturally had to adjust to speed of talent).

He ran a 53 seconds in the 400 meter this season as a sophomore. Not bad at all.
Should be able to get believe 50 seconds next season.

Would make a lot of sense.
The 27 QB we take needs to be a guy that’s ok with sitting 2 years or is a good runner that could be used in packages that doesn’t draw a high NIL demand that has some upside as a starter one day, but isn’t going to leave us without portal options if Faizon and George both somehow don’t pan out. He fits that bill for sure

I have no idea if this kid grew up a Vol fan, but if he is, maybe he’d be more willing to be that guy who bides his time.

Ideally we start to see some better development at the QB position by the time this kid finishes HS and he’s ok with sitting for 2 years because he knows when his time comes he’s going to be in an elite offense and will end up an NFL draft pick
