'26 TN OT Kamari Blair

"You reading my laptop? Was finishing up a big piece on OL recruiting and Blair.

He announces tonight at 6. The staff hasn't been told it's them yet, but there's some Ole Miss buzz from non-Ole Miss sources close to this one. It appears he'll leave the state and either head to Ole Miss or South Carolina, but we'll see."

this from the Ole Miss mod this was his quote

Wondering what the plan is then
Hoping that this means that we expect Gray to commit. But sometimes, you just get beat for a prospect, regardless of what the plan is. Maybe we were shooting for Blair and Gray both and just lost with Blair. It happens.

It is what it is. Let's go get Gray in the boat.

Would rather have Gray as IOL. Personally dude looks the part. Get best players, regardless of fencing.

I dont want to be negative, but realistic. At some point i'd like to see us hit on our biggest four and five star prospects, on offense.

not taking a wr in spring or winter porthole hurt. yes you can get a porthole OL, but I think you want to get a freshmen and develop.

Just continue to think our offensive recruiting is not in sync with defense. And that's a problem.

Really a good class overall, esp on defense
Based on 247 composite we only have one offensive player committed that isn’t a 4* or above and that’s an IOL.

Do you just mean overall number of commits on each side of the ball?

Pretty much. And numbers of highly rated guys. Hope we can snag, this guy or the OG, maybe Keys or Hiter

Is that what I said?

How many times has our staff told a kid where we think he projects even when it’s to our disadvantage?

You just said Kiffin will tell him whatever they want to hear and Heupel will not. I said Heupel doesn't lie. Thats literally what that means....and I'm agreeing with that sentiment. Heupel doesn't bull**** these recruits.
