This is how it's going to work sometimes on guys like this. Think of the importance of this kid to South Carolina's class versus ours. They are obviously paying him more than we were willing to give him. And that's okay. It's just how it's going to work from time to time.I understand tennessee might not be the best palace for everyone, but USCjr??? A Butch Jones clone just sold you a clunker used car
I don't see Blair as a big loss. He and Shabazz are almost interchangeable, IMO. But I do think we need to find another IOL guy. I hope that's Grey, but if we miss there, we still need another interior guy. We’ve got two tackles committed. I mean we all would have liked another (who let’s be honest would likely end up at guard) but you’re kidding if you don’t think this guy was a luxury. Spend money and go get Gray

I still believe this staff pulls together a top class. But I'd be lying if I said there weren't concerns. The true keys to the class are Hiter, Keys, and Grey. People will have differing opinions. That's fine. But I believe we need guys like that to truly stay competitive in the SEC. Beating teams like Georgia or Texas is going to require a more equal level of talent, IMO.
He may be referring to Tom Loy’s comments in RC’s article today about the pending commitment. Loy was still thinking TN, but basically said SCjr felt really good as well. Loy then said that one of the two schools had been misled or lied to, sounds like he may have told both staffs he was coming. Then post a link. Nobody else has made a single comment. Just you.
IF IF IF that is true, even allowing for protecting his big moment, it will take the sting of the announcement..,,,, character counts bigtime with this staff. Interesting to see if he appears on the FLIP list or if the dance is OVER.He may be referring to Tom Loy’s comments in RC’s article today about the pending commitment. if he stays at SC, do you really want to build your life there? His football future if good enough will get him to the NFL regardless. But if no NFL, being a Vol would do more for his families future than being a cock.
Columbia and upstate, sans Greenville is a total sheeshhole. Not just bc of the people, there are buttheads everywhere. But bc its flst and 110° in Sept.Columbia sucks but SC is a pretty sweet state. Charleston is cool, beaches, Greenville is awesome.
Would rather he was a Vol, of course.
JMO, a RB is never going to be a key to a class.I don't see Blair as a big loss. He and Shabazz are almost interchangeable, IMO. But I do think we need to find another IOL guy. I hope that's Grey, but if we miss there, we still need another interior guy.
