'26 TN OT Kamari Blair (Tennessee commit)

Was listening to the Basilio show today and a caller from Clarksville called in about Blair. Said he spoke with his coach and that Blair runs 19 mph on the treadmill at 6'6 287 lbs.

Just for reference, the fastest measured speed in the NFL last season was 22.36 mph by Kavontae Turpin who is listed at 5'9 153 lbs.

This kid is a freak show in terms of raw athletic ability.

Future 1st round NFL pick.

We're about to have a run on elite tackles going to the NFL. David Sanders looks like the real deal. I personally love Jeremiah Heard's potential. And now Blair. Those 3 have about as good a physical tools as you could ask for in a franchise left tackle.

He's gotta prove himself this year. Last year he was awful. I need to see him put it together before I give my stamp of approval.
won't give his stamp of approval on a guy who has started SEC games at 2 schools. but will give his stamp of approval on a guy who is just starting his senior year of high school.

makes sense....

Bad tape will do that compared to a young guy with potential. Its like asking why a NFL team will draft and start a rookie QB with no experience over Jameis Winston whose started for multiple NFL teams already. Because we already know Jameis isn't good while the young inexperienced guy could be great. I'm applying the same logic here. I've seen Lance Heard not be very good in the SEC. I'm hoping Blair when he gets here will be good. Its not complicated.

Was Jameis injured and playing through it + playing overweight bc he couldn’t train like regular during those seasons?
