Kid is an exceptional athlete. My best friend coached him at Warren. He can dunk a basketball anyway he wants and ran a 4.8 at a showcase in Nashville. Florida and South Carolina offered him without him ever playing a snap of varsity football. He is raw but very high upside

Dang, Mahoney and DeBord have shown they suck at developing O-linemen for this scheme. Hoping for the best for this kid but not expecting much if he has to learn a lot from those guys.

Analyst say he is one of the top O-linemen in the country and would have been a 4* if not fore the two ACL surgeries and sitting out his junior year. Boys we just got a steal!

I hope that's true but it does seem like there's ALWAYS some caveat to the players we recruit that prevents them from being universally sought after. They're athletic but raw, they're fast but not shifty, they're shifty but not fast, they're strong but undersized, they're big but undeveloped, they're physically gifted but lack toughness, they're talented but injury prone, they're impressive but played against weak competition, etc etc.

He injured his knee as a freshman and quit football. Played basketball the last couple of years and decided to give football another go after encouragement from one of the high school coaches. He is very raw, but very athletic. He visited Florida last week and weighed in at 300 pounds, but he looks like he weighs about 250. If he puts forth the effort he could be an absolute monster.

Slow feet and a 3 star. Quick feet you are born with and S & C can not do anything about it. He would have to be a really special to make it at the top.

Actually according to most this guy has NFL, first round draft potential. Time will tell, but he is far from a bad pick up.

Aren't most high school players raw? Majority of kids don't get top level coaching in high school.

Absolutely WRONG post with no facts to back it up. Barton Simmons said at the Michigan camp he was keeping up with the skill position players on all the agility drills. Easily the fastest OL or DL at the camp.

Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to post on a message board son...
