'18 TN OL/DL Cade Mays (Transfer)

If Cade spurns Tennessee I will put him in the same mind as I do Harrison Smith, Tee Higgans, Amari Rogers, ect.....They chose to not go to a great university in their own back yard, a university that I love and cheer for. Therefore, I care not what they do in their college career. I don't care if they are great, fail, go to the NFL, stay injured the whole time.......just don't care. They are dead to me. I can tell you this, I have zero clue as to if Higgans or Rogers got even one snap in a college game this year......don't care either.

I don't give a crap how good they do if they sign somewhere else. I find it reprehensible Clemson comes into our backyard - literally - and steals two 5 star players in back to back years. Just f'n sickening.

Mays = Higgins = completely dead to me. Let's go get kids who want to play for us.

Face it he let his mouth over run his britches. After the Georgia game, to some of the guys on the team he knows they want have anything to with him if he came to Tenn. After watching him play at the state tournament game he has a mouth on him. He reminds me of the kid in a movie called trouble with a curv. I'm great your not so get out of my way. Jmo

Cade Mays clearly doesn’t like the Vols. He is intentionally making that clear. Tweets about Dabo visit last night and gives a congrats to Adrian for flipping from TN.

I’d be willing to put down $1000 that he ends up at Clemson.

And the fact Kevin Mays would let his son troll Coach Fulmer like that is weak sauce.

I'm guessing Kevin is letting his son make his own decision here, for better or worse. As a parent, sometimes you have to give your children the freedom to **** up as well as succeed.

This is NOT a life or death decision, if it were, you would see more involvement from the parents..

This is all Kevin needs to say...

Son, this decision is ultimately yours. I leave you with only one thought...do you want to come back to TN one day to live the rest of your life once football is over? The world you will live in around here will be 2 different worlds based on your college decision.

CHV just know that BreakerBoy knows what it is to know. The NPA network is alive and well and he is a part of it. We won't bring Faux info to gain credibility but bring you what we see or know based on our knowledge of the situation. Some might not like what we say but it will be real and with proof.

Why do people use Faux instead of false? I am not trolling. This is a legitimate question. I am also old, so maybe that does explain it.

He probably wants to live wherever the NFL will draft him.

Yet there are those on here who still think he's coming here...smdh. Like Higgens, time to cut bait and quit making fools out of ourselves....

He may have already said something like that. At this point though, the window for useful fatherly advice has probably passed as I think this decision is made and has been for a while..

Did anyone find it odd that neither of the parents were in the pic with Cade, his brother, Dabo and the OL coach? Probably nothing to it.

Kerbyson just said on the radio he talks with him often and he’s sticking with his top 3. He wants to play for NC’s ASAP.

Isn't that the goal of most college athletes? He was committed to Butch for 2 years...What if he doesn't, will he look back at his college years and consider them a failure? Wouldn't it be cool if Clemson loses this year, has a crappy season next year, Dabo bolts for Bama, and TN ends up playing for a NC....oh what sweet irony.

Finally have a good staff in place and he could seriously help us in a position of need. But is just another bandwagon jumper.

I agree with this. Did you see the Book of Manning? Remember how Archie talks about letting Peyton make the decision as to where he will go? Peyton and Archie caught tons of hate from Ole Miss fans but Peyton thought, and Archie ultimately agreed, that Tennessee was the right place for him. Same thing here--it's the young man's decision as much as I hate to see him leave Tennessee.

My only concern with it is how he has handled Fulmer and the Tennessee staff--if he's been respectful in letting them know his decision, that's all we can ask.

Obviously, he can go where he chooses, I will hope he chooses the vols until the papers are signed then if not will think of it no more. I think Most people have a hard time understanding it especially when you see, Emerson, Litaker, Lawless, Taylor etc.... stick with the home school. Those kids have opportunities to go play basically anywhere in the country but choose to stay.
