'18 TN OL/DL Cade Mays (Transfer)

Either way, I trust your evaluations over most. I'm sure that with the work you do and with your recent move, you got plugged into the football happenings in the state.

CHV just know that BreakerBoy knows what it is to know. The NPA network is alive and well and he is a part of it. We won't bring Faux info to gain credibility but bring you what we see or know based on our knowledge of the situation. Some might not like what we say but it will be real and with proof.

More from poster on VQ

"Well, I wasn't in the room. Said it went well. Possibly Cade was upset that Pruitt didn't come see him first, but I don't buy that with the "we didn't have time cause we were hunting" stuff. I see if I can get more details. Best news is that they talked and talked for a good while. So I say he has some thinking to do"

All Clemson smh

Not...so...fast. convo went well, and they approached from a very reasonable point of view. The real influencer here family wise is his brother who loves Clemson. If prulmer (Pruitt & fulmer, I see them as a great couple) can get the time, I think a plan will be laid out for the success of both brothers, and UT will have a Mays in uniform through 2023. If more contact is made by Friday, UT has a punchers chance at getting him to wait until jan.

If this is such a Clemson torn decision is there no chance he visits us this weekend instead of going to UGA? Or is the Clemson thing not the forgone conclusion it's made out to be here?

Seems if UGA wasn't a true factor and he was deciding between head and heart type options that visit this weekend would be a waste of time.

Wouldn’t shock me if him and Lawrence showed up. Wouldn’t that be something.

I know nothing.

Maybe part of the plan is to convince Trevor Lawrence to flip. We now have no QB in this class. Trevor and Cade seem to be tight. TL would be behind 3 stud QBs at Clemson. None here. TL flips, Tae Taylor is in Board...so is Cade.

Fantasy at it's finest.

He can only sign financial aid papers with ONE institution.

No, you mean an NLI. He can sign FA at 30 schools if he wants. It’s not binding in any way with a clause of cancellation. The recruit isn’t binded period. It wouldn’t be a standard packet. It’s a placeholder for anticipated scholarship funding. Just states the school is prepared to assist with enrollment costs until a scholarship goes into effect. Jacob Eason did this with UGA and Washington. Fromm did that too. The school is binded to the player but not the other way around.

Signing financial aid papers does not bind Fromm to Georgia — he can visit other schools, for instance — but it does bind the school to Fromm. Georgia coaches now are allowed to make public comments about Fromm, but when asked about Fromm on the weekly SEC coaches’ teleconference on Wednesday, Bulldogs coach Kirby Smart said the school had not received Fromm’s paperwork.

FYI on how signing FA works. Schools are binded to it but not the player. It was the Best way for a recruit to ensure they could EE but still leave options open to make certain of their choice or make sure a coach doesn’t leave after enrollment deadlines.

Cade is either going to be loved or hated around here for a long time pretty soon. He’s almost trolling at this point with some of his antics. I just don’t get why he was okay to play for a total loser like Butch but not a championship level coordinator with an amazing staff and Fulmer as AD. Makes no sense, if he does go elsewhere.

I’m faux but was right on Alontae huh when everyone was calling Georgia. I’m pretty sure I’m more connected than you are. Especially with the new coaches targets. 😎😎😎😎

JohnD is easily one of the biggest d!€ks on VN. Don’t sweat him and his ish, we greatly appreciate what you bring to the forum.

I think he was solid, but when our season started tanking and Butch was fired it allowed some other programs to get in his ear, which otherwise would not have happened. When they did it allowed him to explore other options and I think he liked what he saw, now I'm afraid his VFL shades have fallen off.

This kid wanted to play for Butch...lol...shows me all I need to know. He's a follower not a leader like Trey Smith. Plus...he's not half as good as him either.
