Recruits are just not that excited about UT right now. They've heard "We're back" for a decade and they're no longer buying it. The team just had the worst year in UT history, on the heels of a late season collapse last year. We're rebuilding... again... with the fourth new coach in ten years. A lot of recruits don't want to be part of that.

Correct. But Mays is buying that Clemson has someone turning pro early and he might start next year. Just like Tee was supposed to start this year.

Dabo will eventually have to deal with the unrealized promises for kids that see his place as a 3-year pit stop before NFL. It caught up to Bowden, Fulmer, Caroll, M Brown.

The BIG difference is that Fulmer is the AD. Fulmer will make sure that the CJP gets what he needs.

Says a lot about a kid’s character when he would choose a school with no affiliation over a school his father played at and he grew up loving. It is the easy way out. It would be way harder to come here and build this team up. That is what a true Volunteer and man of integrity and honor would do. Go Vols!! Home sweet home....always be.
