I question whether if he comes here that it will be another case of a player who thinks he is entitled because of who he is and where he is from.
Regardless - he has always seemed like the type that wants to go where the team was already winning. He placed a lot of emphasis on wanting to be part of the 2018 # 1 recruiting class. He doesn't seem like the type of player that wants to be a part of making something happen. Those players are a special breed - they want to break down the doors then walk through them - some would rather the door already be open.
We need players that are willing to put in the hard work and sacrifice that it will take to get Tennessee back in the chase in the SEC.
I'm just not into having to get a player just because the player lives in the greater Knoxville area.
I bet you feel like a big man don't you? You think you are awesome because you got to correct somebody's spelling error. Everybody makes spelling errors and typos sometimes. That is why even the greatest writers in history had editors look at their work. I am an English major and get paid to write and edit. It always tickles me when I see idiots online trying to invalidate an argumemt because of one spelling error or typo.Just because it's common doesn't mean that's the way he spells it. :hi:
Quite frankly, that's personal and has nothing to do with Cade Mays. Let's get back on topic.

I dont care if he is a diva, media attention whore or a complete a hole. From everything I have heard the guy is a freaking beast and plays nasty. We need big, tough OL. How they act is the least of my concern. I worry about their ability to play.
Again, I used that spelling because that is a common spelling for that last name. damn, I am sorry. People misspell my last name all the time because there is more than one common spelling for that name. I have never once questioned someone's intelligence or tried to invalidate someone's argument or opinion because of one misspelled word.Youre attacking a kid you dont even know, making dumbass assumptions about his character and cant even spell his name right.

As for "Mays," Are you happy pedants? The kid clearly has an attitude. You can see that by watching him play. He gets mad and gets stupid penalties. That crap could hurt us in big games. I gave a specific example of why I think he would be a problem here, but you were too busy being pedantic to consider the substance behind my argument.
And again, I did not post here. I made a thread in the football forum and it got moved here. He's a freaking teenage kid man. That crap can easily be coached out of him. I actually love the fact that he plays mean and with a little passion. This team needs some of that. The point wasn't to call you out for a misspelling, it was to call you out for bashing a kid and not even spelling his name right. It's in the thread title man. Quit being butt hurt and just move along. :hi:
The kid is obviously very talented, but it seems like he is a liability in a lot of ways. He is a hot head and hurt his team with stupid penalties this year. I watched Catholic on tv, and saw him go running in well after a play was dead to jump in a pile. That was dangerous and stupid. That is the kind of stuff we could expect with him if he comes to UT. I had a Maryville fan tell me that Mays without a doubt costed Catholic that game with his stupid untimely penalties.
