I'll take 1 Trey Smith any day over 10 of another who doesn't want to be in Tennessee come hell or high water. Staying in state and being a hometown hero versus taking the chance of "maybe" winning a title with a team whose fanbase doesn't know you from the next O-lineman.... he made his bed and now he can lay in it. Best of luck to him unless he is going up against us. Next.

Officially eliminates Tennessee from consideration. Will choose between Clemson, Georgia, and Ohio State. Not good. We need to get a coach in place so he can get on the recruiting trail.

Obviously the kid didn't want to come here, if he did he'd wait to see who is hired and talk to them before totally eliminating TN from this choices

I still think he has so many connections to UT that if Leach, for example, made him his first call after getting the job he could talk him into returning.

If you don't think Joey Freshwater and his traveling band of UT booters in their micro minis could get this turned around, then I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell ya. Leach?? WTH, is there any kid in America on this side of the Mississippi River who knows who Mike Leach is or even gives two rats axxes who he is??? GMAB

It's done. Was not happy with vol fans over the past week. Was embarrassed, and is a Clemson lean to play with friends.

yes fairly certain any QB, WR, or OL that has aspirations to play in the NFL will haha. What wide receiver wouldn't?? He has 6 players with over 400 receiving yards this year. Incase you were wondering we only had 2 and ZERO with over 500.

Seems like the kind of guy with a IDGAF attitude. So it wouldn't shock me one bit if he lists those three all the way up until NSD, sits at a table with a OSU, UGA, Clemson hat on... gives a little speech about how much he's thought of everything and blah blah blah, then when its time to pick up a hat and put it on, he reaches from his lap and puts on the Power T hat.

Watched game last night. Sounded like he is having second thoughts and is back on the market. His coach even said after the game, big decisions to be made in the next 10 days or so.

Let him go. Based on what folks are saying he has said he sounds like a diva.

And yes that is harsh - but players just need to say who they are looking at and keep the bashing of coaches and fans out of it.

There is no chance he comes to Tennessee at this point, we won't have a coach recruiting until after Jan 1 possibly later than that. He will follow his fellow LB to Clemson or OSU. How can you think he will commit to a school without a coach or a staff for that matter? Would you let your son or daughter come to this mess????
