Until the fans stop supporting UT football and demand change. Tennessee will continue to be a bottom feeder of the east.

And at this point not supporting the football program IS supporting the players.

What it means is that the UTAD dept needs to get their head out of their azz and get a big time coach in here to fix this mess.

Just firing Butch would stop the bleeding and the national media joke Tennessee & its administrators have become.

It's beyond embarrassing to be a Tennessee fan now

I can imagine it's becoming the same embarrassment to be a Tennessee recruit at this point with so much negative media coverage that doesn't have to be there.

Just how will firing Butch now "stop the bleeding"? Every recruit out there knows Butch and this staff are most likely gone and a new coach and staff will be in place for their freshman season. We fire Butch and name an interim and every recruit knows he won't be the coach and a replacement with new staff will be in place for their freshman season. Either way we won't hire a replacement until after the last regular season game if not after bowl season. These kids committed to Butch Jones and this staff. Changing it now or later means nothing in terms of keeping this class together. So again, how does firing him now change a thing about how this situation is going to go?

I mean you can't blame the kid. If he wants an NFL career he would be much better off at Clemson than here. If I had a kid that was a 5* football player no chance I would be letting them go to TN.

That may be true under the current coach. We have a new coach coming soon so it's a moot point

You gotta look at the future. What about the 2019 class? We gotta let him go now and hire someone else and try to salvage a recruiting class and plan for the future.

Clemson has been negative recruiting hard against UT since Josh Malone. Rodgers, Higgins and Johnson upped the negative peer recruiting. UT is a hot mess right now. It's going to be a fight to the finish to keep top players who want to win real championships.

Cade is visiting Clemson this weekend for the Georgia Tech game but it is a Unofficial visit. He is planning to come back against Citadel for his Official Visit. All signs are pointing to Clemson at this point.
