I don't have a problem with o-lineman having that mean streak about them. They need that, don't get me wrong. But Cade's age doesn't excuse some of the things he did last Friday including but not limited to:
1.) Getting to Maryville and walking to the center of the field and spitting on the Maryville emblem
2.) Hurting a Maryville player and then openly mocking his injury to Maryville's coaching staff
3.) Refusing to shake hands with any player at the end of the game, but instead storming off the field like a baby
4.) Consistently using incredibly foul language on the Maryville sideline directed at Maryville players and coaches
I was not told about any of these things, but witnessed all four personally. It happened.
I don't care how old you are, you should know better than to conduct yourself in such a manner, especially if you are the star player for a Christian school.
This thread is incredible
If an opponent treated Tennessee this way... I don't know, maybe like OU's Striker, the hate would never end, but everyone is blinded by his commitment.
SMH. Obviously a supremely talented kid who needs to grow up, show basic sportsmanship and keep a high intensity in the midst of it.
Why do we swing to extremes?
And I read that coach Butch Jones was in attendance for this game. Reckon coach will have to splain thangs to da youngin.I don't have a problem with o-lineman having that mean streak about them. Perhaps if more people had called Cade a punk little bit** and actually corrected his behavior, he wouldn't actually be a punk little bit**. I was at the game, and I called it as I saw it.
I called Tee Higgins repeatedly a little bit** in his thread as a result of what he did to our coaches in July 2016. I never had anyone call me out in that thread. Cade and Tee are/were both dominant players. Both had the opportunity to come to UT, but one ultimately went to Clemson. So why the difference now? The answer is obvious: if the kid is committed to the VOLS he's infallible, meanwhile any other kid should and does get thrown under the bus.
Your comment calling Cade's behavior as" possibly disresctful", you know when he cursed at opposing coaches, spit on an emblem before the game, mocked an injured player, and then refused to shake anyone's hand at the end of the game, is the best example I could give of my point above. The kid acted like a punk so I called him a punk. Get over it.
People hated striker bc he was playing against us... we would have loved him if he played for us....its really that simple.
Bigger question is why an assumed adult is going around calling high schoolers punk bi????? on an internet forum, if you have such a personal issue with it why didn't you say something to him or his family about it?
If doing that stuff to maryville High School is wrong then I don't want to be right.
Not disputing Mrorange's word, he saw what he saw and I wasn't there. Seems to me though that others had to see it and there would be some corroboration of the story.
Maybe there were and they just don't want to speak up due to fear of 'VolNation retribution'... Ha..
