'18 TN OL/DL Cade Mays (Transfer)

Instead of wishing ill-will on CM and arguing with each other in this thread, shouldn't we move to the threads of recruits that wanted to be at UT and signed with us? Give them thanks and props for choosing Tennessee. That is where I'm headed.

It's comical watching grown men try to rationalize a character flaw in a kid for making a college decision.

I really wonder how many people in here have ever actually ever had options like Cade Mays just had.

They never made a college decision themselves. That would have required graduating high school.

Is he going to be an early enrollee at UGA? Because if he isn’t, I imagine it’s going to be a long 6 months for he and his family. Not saying it should be, but our fan base can be brutal. Of all the places to go, he goes to ****ing UGA. Don’t wish physical harm on the kid, but hes going to get some major backlash over this.

With regard to my argument, you're not capable of keeping up with the on going discussion, apparently.

Ah, cool; go with the easy cop-out. You’ve learned a lot in your years on this forum!

Calling me a "joke" doesnt make many of the things said about Mays okay. It's simply a way to try to silence someone that challenges your ideas.

You’re not “challenging” ideas here; what you’re doing is attempting to dictate the proper way to react to Tennessee football issues in a smarmy, pious fashion. You’d fit in superbly on /r/CFB, but on here your policing the reactions of UT fans is embarrassing.

Peyton was a QB far more important than 1 OL. OL is a unit, much bigger than one player. Trey Smith was a monster and we still had a bad OL. Not concerned.

Just another recruit who believed Butch was the right guy for UT.

I mean if your feelings get hurt over Butch being let go due to being a terrible HC, I question their thinking.

It wasn't a quick quip. He followed it up with "wishing him a Ryan Shazier type injury", that thankfully was removed. Wishing injuries on an 18 year old kid for his school choice is the pinnacle of classlessness.

Phew; I’m so glad that we have you here to police the etiquette of responses in this thread.

Particularly for those of us who are alums, it is embarrassing to share a "fanhood" with people who would do that. But considering your name, it speaks volumes that you'd defend him.

And for those of us who received our degrees outside of the Jesse Harris building, it’s “embarrassing” to have a p.c. softie like yourself jumping down the throats of passionate fans.
