I've seen it posted numerous times that "Experience" means a lot winning a football game. That the Vols will lose a big portion of their games because they don't have the game time the rest of the teams in schedule. If this is true the roster of Tennessee-Martin shows that there is way more " Experience " than Tennessee Vols. Does this mean that the first game will be a lot closer than what people think?

I think we may struggle offensively early. With that being said I don't think the game will be very competitive.

I'm thinking scrimmaging each other in practice is better competition than TN-Martin in a real game.

Our inexperience will not factor into a game against UTM. We will break them (in an Ivan Drago voice)

I don't really think it will be a close game either. I see a couple picks but other than that I see a clear victory for the Vols. The point I'm trying to make is that critics are saying that the Vols don't stand a chance because of the lack of Experience. I don't believe that. Teams like TCU and Boise State came out of nowhere with less talent that what the Vols have right now. The Vols have one of the best colleges in the country. They should outplay all these smaller conference teams on any Saturday.

Big factors in winning: talent, coaching

Factors that aren't that big until you face teams that are equal to or greater than your talent: experience

We should be able to pull alot of starters in the 3rd quarter. The main objective is to win the game decisively with ZERO injuries.
