As an adoptive/foster parent, I’ll tell you first hand, you don’t have to be blood to be family.

I’m going to assume that they’re adopted if they came here through a program like that.
I’d love to hear their story. More so, I’d love for my adopted son to hear their story.

Oh, I know. We get innocently asked a lot of silly questions. Even if they sometimes sound rude, people are generally just curious. We just roll with it and laugh.

I second this. Always a big need for good people in the foster care system. Obviously I don't know you but you seem alright haha. Their is a good little system in Chattanooga I know if people want to contact them: Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes is their website

Even if you’re unable to care for the children yourself, there are other ways of helping. Our friends run this organization… http://fosterfamilyassistance.com
