'26 TN Edge Zach Groves

Zach Groves was another one who made his way to campus on Saturday to check out the Vols. We think a lot of things continue to line up for him in Knoxville as he certainly appears comfortable. The in-state four-star has a host of schools interested in him at this point, but Coach Chop and several others on the Tennessee staff have continued to do a nice job with the talented EDGE.

Seems likely reading AP tea leaves.

My question is what do they do with the serve board from there:

Already have CJ Edward’s and seem to lead for Tristan Givens who’s a total stud. Also deep in the mix and expected to get OVs from:

Dre Quinn (UV 4/5, 6/20 OV)
Hezekiah Harris (4/12 UV, 6/20 OV - AU commit)
Keysaun Eleazer (UV 3/12 & 5/24, OV 6/6)

Maybe they think one or more of these guys can end up being more of an SDE but I don’t see how you stop recruiting any of them.

When you feel good about four prospects you are lucky if two end up signing. Can't have too many good relationships with recruits, especially at premium position.

Also I hate the term edge. I get it's because of different defensive schemes, but i liked it when it when it was SDE, WDE, OLB more because atleast you could assume what skill sets they were valuing when ranking the recruits.

I think Givens is leaning towards Texas Atm now.
