'26 TN Edge Zach Groves

Tennessee has been in consistent contact with in-state prospect Zach Groves. The standout defender tells us the Vols have continued to make him a priority of late, and he has heard a lot of good things from the staff. He wants to learn more during a visit later in the fall, as he has only been to campus a couple of times to this point.

Elsewhere from in-state, four-star EDGE Zach Groves from East Robertson will also be in town. He is another one excited to make it back to campus and will get to experience Neyland at night for the first time. He has not been to Tennessee often at this point, so he will be looking to learn more during the visit, as he has continued to hear plenty about the program from the staff of late.

EDGE Zach Groves

Four-star EDGE Zach Groves was on campus this fall for the win over Alabama. On3 ranks the 6-foot-4, 225-pounder at No. 138 overall and as the 16th-best edge rusher in the class. Groves, who stars for East Robertson in Cross Plains, Tenn. is considered the fourth-best prospect in the state.

Zach Groves is expected to come in from the mid-state this weekend. Tennessee has kept close tabs on him for some time, and they got him to campus during their win over Kent State. They had hoped to get him back for the Alabama game, but it did not work out. Still, this weekend will be about continuing to build on already strong relationships. Coach Chop and others on the staff have done a nice job early on with the four-star defender.
