Kentucky offered.

Was told that a coach from duke came to visit and told him he was soft. Said he has taken that to heart and has been living in the weight room. Hopefully he gets his mean steak this year. One downfall I see alot and this is coming from a south Pittsburg alumni is the level of competition that has to be played due to region games. He doesnt have to give 100%. I understand it and at the same time I don’t. You already stand out on the field and don’t want to get injured but if you give 100% every play and gain some strength then he would be a lot higher on coaches radars. Also it’s still 1A football. These position coaches aren’t the type of coaches that can watch a film and tell him to work on X and you need to do X. Reguardless he will still play at the next level and is the only other power 4 offered player since Eddie Moore.

I will update as I hear them.
That number 2 for them is a player…can’t remember his name but that kid can scoot.

Appreciate the info. First to admit I know way more basketball and baseball than football so blast away if I’m off… but anybody else think it’s funny a Duke coach being the one to call somebody soft?!? 😆

I think Duke has a pretty good thing going right now with Manny Diaz. Like really good.

Sounds like this one is about to blow up. Not many dudes with that frame & speed. Guessing he flew under the radar because of his school's classification. @allvol90 whats the scoop on the talent there? any good players produced in the past?

Yes Eddie Moore is the only big name that has came from our school. We have very good talent to compete in 1&2A year in and year out along with a state title but we don’t have the talent and roster size to compete with the big boys. 90% of the starters play both ways. There was a kid back around 2007 or 2008 when Chavis came down to recruit a kid for LB but he wanted to play RB so he ended up at MTSU for RB but ended up playing LB there anyways.

South Pittsburg has always been good in football. They ran all over us when I was in HS at Boyd-Buchanan. Them and Lookout Valley was our rivals back then. But we drilled them in baseball lol
