I like 'em looking like Harry Galbreath.
I knew Harry, we graduated the same year from rival schools in Clarksville. Have many friends that knew him real well. He used to come to our gym to workout because Clarksville High was remodeling theirs at the time. What a story, he turned into a beast. He loved UT. Harry left high school a little known 2 star, I remember his red-shirt year and me and my friends knowing what many were soon to find out. That Harry had went from a chubby likeable big guy into a toned super strong mountain of man that was now not only a likeable guy but a fierce football player. I remember his first game against UCLA in 85, the Bruins has a All-American Senior defense player lined up across from Harry. All I did was watch Harry the first few series and much of the rest of the game. Harry kept the Bruin in check all day long. The Bruin players name escapes me but he had long blond hair I remember that. I also remember Gaston Green going about 75 yards untouched on the first play from scrimmage, and you could have heard a pin drop. But UT's defense got a lot tougher after that. Loved Majors, but he got way conservative at the end of that game and we let them come back and tie us. But what a great year was too come after that game. But had we won that opener we very well have been National Champs. GBO!!!!
the 4-star defensive tackle is not currently enrolled at Tennessee.
Lawless will not be in Knoxville for either June or July summer courses and his future with the program is uncertain. "I'm not really sure what is going on," Lawless said. "It's frustrating." When asked if the hold up was grades, himself, or Tennessee, he sounded unsure of what the hold up currently is. "I honestly could not tell you," Lawless said. "I have no idea. I just don't know."
Lawless could end up on Rocky Top in August, but sources tell Volquest.com that appears to be a long shot. Obviously a trying time, Lawless is trying to keep a level head and remained poised. "It is what it is honestly," Lawless said.
