Honest question: If you are the UT coaches do you keep the recruiting the kid because of his skill and your need at the position or do you stay completely away because he lied to you and you don't believe he can be trusted?

P.S. Watch AU want to run Gus off when he loses to UGA and Bama and much of their recruiting class change by February.

I don’t think many coaches in today’s era can afford to be indignant about stuff like this. I imagine they will still pursue him if he gives them even a little bit of opening.

Maybe this is why Tosh Lupoi's name has been hinted at in recent days as there has been disappointment with the D-line recruiting? I expect more at this moment and figure that D-line recruits who visited last week will fill out those positions with UT missing out on all the instate linemen.

Wish we could but we aren't at that point right now. Maybe in two more classes we can move past this silent commitment game and say your either all the way in or your out, but you need to have a lot of elite talent that wants to be at your school to do that.

He flat-out lied to people that trusted him-- the coaches, his friends, other recruits. He lied to their faces, then blindsided them-- just like Tee Higgins. It takes a certain kind of person to do that, especially when the kid's local or a legacy.
