Good player. Could blow up soon. Trying hard to get the secret out. With Brooks Johnston being a box safety, Skylan is playing out of position, but it is obvious the upside is there at safety. For the same reason it is a weird fit at Catholic, I wonder if they would go after both with Brooks seemingly being ID'd as a target already

I noticed Gibbs committed to Bama today, randomly.

But Johnston, Johnson, Bowman— I’d take em all.

Knoxville (Tenn.) Catholic safety Skylan Johnson was offered by Virginia Tech in June and went in-depth on his experience.

“The atmosphere was great,” Johnson said. “You can tell Tennessee fans really support their team, and being in Neyland and experiencing that environment in person was definitely special. What continues to stand out to me about Tennessee is the family like team and how much the coaches care about developing players both on and off the field. Being able to compete at that level, play in front of that kind of fanbase, and be part of a program with that much tradition is really special. I was definitely able to picture what it would be like to play there one day.”
