TN Commit David Oku

So, this could be a strategic play on Oku's part?

If he doesn't qualify, maybe. It doesn't matter because he committed to a 5-7 team and honestly if we win 8-9 game next year then we will get better prospects on campus. If has moved to get qualified is one thing, but moving to LINCOLN says something that really none of us know what is going on.

I agree.

New article on scout cites Oku's reason for transfering is to take a class that he needs to qualify for College. I'm assuming that he must have been failing this class at Carl Albert. And I wasn't aware that Ole Miss was added to his final list, but they aparently are. He may go on an official to Oxford before it is said and done.

Can you say NCAA Clearinghouse??

Changing schools this late in the game will certainly trigger red flags at the clearinghouse. If Oku wants to walk a straight line and excel at his game and be a student athlete...then come on down....but this change of schools makes me worry that his qualification could easily be in question. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't Giles originally thought to be in question with regard to qualification, which made Oku more attractive?

Well, if he would transfer to a different high school just before graduation to be close to her, then I guess it would be safe to say he will stay near Lincoln.
