Well, with Drayton and Troop both filling his ears with negative things about their former employer (probable assumption), it would be hard for any high school kid to not begin believing it. They can play the "Trust me. This is what's gonna happen there" card and make it seem 100% plausible.
does anyone have any in site on why the turn by OKU? i mean he was solid and now this. is he upset because CLK and company are still recruiting top RB's?
Not to nitpick, but a handmade posterboard sign is not a violation.13.6.7.9 Activities. An institution may not arrange miscellaneous, personalized recruiting aids (e.g., personalized jerseys, personalized audio/video scoreboard presentations) and may not permit a prospective student-athlete to engage in any game-day simulations (e.g., running onto the field with the team during pre-game introductions) during an official visit. Personalized recruiting aids include any decorative items and special additions to any location the prospective student-athlete will visit (e.g., hotel room, locker room, coach’s office, conference room, arena) regardless of whether or not the items include the prospective student-athlete’s name or picture.

My guess, also, is that Auburn students made that sign and asked Oku & Trooper to hold it for a picture. Trooper is savvy enough to know the rules.
I miss him at UT.
Remember also that these kids we are recruiting are only 17-19 years old, so their respective years of following college football closely only extend back 5 to 7 years.RBU? Please. UT has had more guys that have had recent (last 10~15 years) success in the NFL than Auburn.

Then compare the two schools.
Auburn has Ronnie Brown, Brandon Jacobs, Cadillac Williams, Heath Evans, Rudi Johnson, Carl Stewart and Kenny Irons currently active and successful in the NFL. UT has Jamal Lewis and ...... that's it, as far as current rosters are concerned.
This discrepancy makes a big difference. It also speaks volumes as to why Fulmer is no longer coaching.
