So you're saying we need another guy that can carry the ball 20 or so times a game. Makes sense because I don't see giles as that kind of back.

Yes, he will be. He stated earlier in the summer he wanted to see that game, then also scheduled other big games for other schools on other dates.

Maybe you'll see me, too.

I'll be there in spirit. Im saving my one visit for the bama game. Im not sure that this visit does anything for me. I think this may be a kid who just wants to see all the big games around the country. Although there are rumors going around that he is a silent to us.

Oku cut Michigan and Illinois off his list today and added Louisville. His dad convinced him to make an early decision so he can enroll early. His final list is Tennessee, Nebraska, Louisville, and FSU. I think we are looking good here.

FSU worries me the most. Will he even be able to enroll early? Last I saw, he had a very poor ACT score.

I found this video and its got me pumped:

There are also a couple older videos that shed some light into Oku.

He has recently narrowed his list to 4 and from all indications we are still definitely in the mix. I don't know if any of this has changed but his first official will be to the UT vs. UF game on Sept 20. He also loves Coach Caldwell because he says CC doesn't talk much and the recruiting thing has gotten old. He also says that playing in a good conference is important and he feels the SEC is the best.

All good signs if you ask me since we are the only SEC school and the Gerald Jones connection.

Any thoughts or additional info

with so many schools going to the spread and us still going with a pro-style offense we can become a haven for rb's. I just have to believe that Stan can pull him.

fsu already has chris thompson and lonnie pryor at rb in this class..doesnt mean he wont go to fsu but i like are chances landing him

Where is that confidence coming from? Is my memory failing me or have they really been seriously in the discussion prior to now? I felt like everyone seemed to think UT and Mich. were the two with the best shot at him until this new list came out.

Nebraska always thinks they are a lock for players considering them, similar to ND and WVU. None of those teams would surprise me, though the addition of Louisville is intriguing. I think we get him if we really push.

They are convinced that the parents are pushing for Lincoln so they can see him play.

That's what had me curious too, why add Louisville this late seemingly out of nowhere according to all the earlier indications.

I hope he comes to Tennessee. I got to talk to him for a little bit at the O&W game and he seemed like a pretty good guy.
