I think he was offered by Memphis and maybe MTSU as well. I don’t know much about him.

Seems like this a senior development watch, type of prospect.

Where would you ranked him in the state?
I need to see more of him at corner to fully make an opinion but there’s a clump of DBs in that 8-12 range in-state that he’s probably in (Chaz Smith, Anderson, Justin Hopkins, Shavar Young Jr).

Anderson should have arguably most upside of the group with length + explosiveness + ball skills. He is a relatively new name so could rise up the ranks for sure. Probably in that back half of top ten

For sure one of those where I would like to be a fly on the wall in the war room to see where he is on the priority board.

Pretty high up there. We’re not in on hardly any pure cornerbacks this year.
We never are. Rickey Gibson has been the only one so far that this staff has landed out of HS. Poteat and Lewis stick to receivers well, but we’ve yet to see them play

Yup, he’s a stud. I think the reason he’s so low is because he goes to Greeneville, so the competition is 4a, which is pretty mediocre for Tennessee
Mediocre for the country but decent in Tennessee. Alcoa moves to 4A I believe this season.

Tennessee is strange. They have Top 5-8 talent in FBS prospects now out of all 50 states.
But outside of the Private Schools Tennessee is average as far as good HS football teams.

Oakland and Alcoa are about the only public schools I would bet for having success out of state. Where is Ohio I would bet 10 schools but Tennessee has equal D1 talent.

Not knocking on greeneville, just the competition. I doubt balling out against teams like chucky doak and grainger do much to move the needle with sites like rivals and 247
They regularly beat DB and Science Hill these days. While not comparable to mid-state power houses, they’re not exactly Doak and Grainger Co.

Plus, this kid would make the 2nd Green Devil signed this summer after Gillespie on the basketball team.
