TKJr

Agree with everything you said. Except, I don't think the INT against IU was a bad read but just a poor throw. There was separation and a good throw would have been a TD.

QD is right where he should be with 4 games under his belt. I think he will continue to improve and end up being a great QB for us.

QD is 4th in the SEC in passing yards, 9th in comp% and 5th in TDs. Factor in the drops he has had by the WRs, his 4th official start and absence of QB coaching and he isnt as bad as some think.

Basically walked out and quit as has Jennings but TKSr wasn't going for it and went to CBJ and other VFLs are trying to help figure this mess on the hill. We shall see Saturday. The kids are tired of the injury lies and coach speak as much as fans.

I'm sorry, but I don't see Jennings quitting this team! He is our starting #1 WR. Why would he quit and why would CBJ lie and say he was injured?

De1 used to bring good insight to the RF, then got butthurt and went all negative.
Now he just stirs the pot when he needs to stick to cutting hair.

^Truth! No way this is true!!! I had managed to stay away from this site since last weekend and just popped in to see if we had a surprise commit and come across this crap!?! maybe I can hold off until this weekend!

People running with this trash are either:

Gullible or Pushing their Agenda which is to replace CBJ

Either way, it's disgusting and it's the same people who support every negative article. They do so without any regard of facts...which, as I've read through this thread, seem to be curiously absent.

But don't let that stop you

No opinion on whether De1's comment is true or not but I don't think he was saying Jennings was not hurt, just that he quit. Also, Butch has lied about injuries before. Now did he do it to protect his players or cover his rear? Who knows? I sure don't.

Not taking up for D1 but Jennings was reported to have been on an outing with another injured player this past Saturday instead of supporting his teammates. The word is he was at the lake this past Saturday.

If true that isn't a good sign.

I've seen Jauan around campus with a full-on cast on his wrist. Not sure how the rumor that he isn't actually hurt and just quit started, but seems pretty unrealistic given, ya know, his actual injury.

No one I've seen is implying he isn't hurt. Just stating that he had been absent from all team activities by choice.

TKJr is in a tough spot. He is injured, falllen in the depth chart, and not likely headed to the NFL. Any kid in his position may be thinking about his football future. Here is to hoping he can get well.

CBJ took this job when it looked like a good way to kill your career as a HC. I am sure he was looking for quick step up the ladder. He may not be the best coach but he has tried to do a good job and has done it the right way. For that effort he deserves a thanks, not a character assassination.

The volnation loves it when we have a top recruiting class, then makes up all sorts of stories about Butch lying to recruits, when there is no evidence of such.

People say Butch has lost the locker room and site issues with a player or two. All the kids want to play. They all came here expected to start because they were so exceptional in HS. If a coach says, "You could win a starting spot." the kid hears a promises. No coach could keep them all happy. All the top programs have talent walk. I have heard recruits say they came here because, there were NO promises.

If a player has told the coach he's thinking about leaving the team, a normal thing to do is to give the player time and space. What do you do if a reporter asks why the player isn't at practice or a game? Deflect the question or say as little as possible. If the player is injured and can't play anyway, saying the player is injured is a half truth, not a lie. If you don't agree, check out a White House presser. I have never see a player, during the season, that wasn't injured. So injury always works. Coach can't say ,"Well he is deciding if he want to be on this team".

The truth is vols fans want to win and would do anything to get there. You name it, and we can find someone here that would do it. TN may not beat GA on Saturday, but we will find out if Butch has lost the locker room. If the players want him gone they will not give a good effort. I predict a good effort. If the players lay down and don't try, I'll give Butch a ride to the airport.

If the players give a good effort and back Butch can the Negavols?

Just what juggernaut of a defense have we played to this point?

GT, ISU, and UMASS....and 3 INTs vs. Fla.....

So...QD has played one very average SEC defense....

And he wasn't exactly lighting it up against UMASS last Saturday.....

I expect his rankings to nosedive rapidly over the next 4 games.....:salute:

I am 100% CERTAIN that Colorado State is extremely happy that CBJ took the UT job..........

Better for Jones to kill his career here than destroy their up and coming program! :salute:

BS!!! Stop posting crap that you know nothing about. This kind of thing is ban worthy. TKJr has not walked out on anyone or anything! You could verify this with Rene' if you knew the family. Before you ask, Rene' is his mother.

And Ron, Renee's brother, TKjr's uncle and a baller for the Fulton basketball teams of the late 80s, my former teammate

I agree with this. Butch IMO, is lacking as a gameday coach (and not very good at PCs) but that does not mean he's a bad guy. It just means he's not the guy to take the program to the next level.. I can say that and still appreciate the hard work he has put it in to get this program off life support..

It was CU not State...but point taken. They both are probably happy he's not there.

Why even make this post? Your bringing attention to something that doesn't need attention just to be cryptic about knowing something. So your making it worse.

We heard this same crap about oh wait till the real Hurd story comes out and nothing ever happened. Annoying.
