And shots available everywhere. And shots required or you're fired/banned at many places. Yet here we are year after year.

Hmmmmmm?

Unfortunately, this year's vaccine is only about 10% effective. The predominant virus mix turned out different than what they predicted.

Doesn't sound like a real suicide attempt to me. Call for attention yes, but not life ending type of actions.

All Jimmy did was report what was in a police report. It’s public record. If his report was just based on hearsay or reporting things not part of public record then that would be a problem. If people don’t want things in the media then don’t get the police called to your house.

I don't see this listed via any of the UT Police resources online. I see where you can request records and expect a 2 to 3 day wait if approved. I also see their daily crime blog on twitter and elsewhere, but nothing just open and facing the public with names and details.

Interesting how Jimmy doesn’t want to report on coaching searches “until there is a coaching search out of respect for the coach”. Yet he has no problems on jumping on this.

Prayers for Jr and his family.

Wow! You nailed it. Well said.

To hell with any asshats sticking up for Hyams. That piece is **** wouldn't touch anything to do with coaches but players are apparently fair game at all times.

If that’s was the case, why is there a police report?

All the police report says is that he threatened to kill himself. It doesn't say he tried.

The police being called for an attempted suicide is probably a witness that overheard the verbal altercation and then witnessed the fall. They likely either assumed it to be a purposeful fall, or when they described the circumstances, the police or 911 operator transcribed it as a suicide attempt.

My gut tells me he didn't jump off. He was probably trying to get under the girl's skin by saying he was going to kill himself, then got on the wall.

I really hope he didn't actually try to kill himself, but the police report does not state that he did, and it's being reported by Jimmy as such. All the police report does is report what was observed by witnesses. None of the witnesses said he jumped, but that's what Jimmy reported.

If you go by the precinct you usually can get the report that day. Also, as long as he’s been reporting, I guarantee all Hyams has to do is emai the PIO and he gets the report emailed back to him pretty much immediately. Also, Hyams didn’t break the story that Kelly was injured, that was Trey Wallace. I’d assume a source reached out to Wallace and tipped him off and that’s how it got out.

And Trey Wallace did not report the content, if he was given it, due to its sensitive nature. That's how a professional reports.

No, it’s really not. Hyams did the professional, but unpopular, thing. Also, when someone (Wallace in this case) breaks a story, it’s only natural for other outlets to follow it up.

I am close friends with TK and was with him last night and this was just an accident. He slipped so he went to the ER as precaution since he is recovering from surgery and the results were positive and everything is fine. Nothing to see here

Well, may as well step up to the plate here.
