I am sick and tired of the we ain't gonna beat lsu, bama or even vandy crap. Come on people support your team. We have just as much of a chance to beat LSU as they do to beat us that's why they play the game. If the fans give up the team will too. plan and simple. GO VOLS WHOOP SOME TIGER TAIL!!!

Negatively breeds negatively. If we had won last night, there would still be some negative postings on here.

Get used to it. For the rest of this season and next one too. The same know-it-all type-A personalities that call themselves Vol fans are going to be posting on here immediately after every loss.

Dooley is the right man for the job, IMO. He is going to need time to clean up the train wreck created by former administrations. Getting rid of him anytime in the next three seasons is foolhardy and would further set this program back.

And when I say "time", everyone better get ready for next season too, because that one will be filled with ups and downs too, IMO.

What do you mean by 2012? How about maybe 2013 before we start even being in the conversaton about a division crown.

And in the meantime, we should all be watching the recruiting news for an indicator of what the future holds.

Those are the bitter facts of life in Knoxville...

True...8-4 next year woul be solid improvement after a probable 6-6 year this year.

if DD isnt fired before the 2014 season I think that will be the season we start contending on a regular basis...might actually beat bama by then..MAYBE florida, UGA....rebuilding will STILL be going on in 2012, also 2013, but by 2014 we BETTER be in the SECCG.

This is what you get when you have back to back 6-6 season which this year that could be the best possible outcome. Always beat the bad teams and always lose to the good ones. Dooley has only beat a team with a winning record one in his coaching career

Meh. This is why I usually steer clear of volnation after a loss like that. The sky falls, but then by Thursday there are 300 threads about how we're going to win mixed in. There's no midground here. Ohhhhwell. Go vols. I still love ya, even if I'm disappointed.

Florida will be Horrible next year. UGA will be the one to cause us to not go. USC will be good with Lattimore but no Jefferry. UK and Vandy will be UK and Vandy. :dance: It will be a hard task cause we will be playing UGA and USC at their place. Without any injuries, We should be able to manhandle UF, UGA, and USC. With Justin Hunter, Da'Rick Rogers, and Tyler Bray. We also have to RUN THE FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a strong supporter of Dooley but the mistakes being made on the field last night has a lot to due with coaching and not a lot to do with youth. Some of the mistakes and lack of performance was embarrassing. I wish he would stop using youth as an excuse.

Lainer Got burned so many times it wasnt funny so i do blame some of it on youth. A Coach is not going to coach a perfect game. Even Nick Saban cant coach this team to a National Championship. :)

You're not tired of negativity, you're tired of reality. Reality is, we're not a very good football team, and we have an average at best coaching staff. That's reality.

So it's negative to state the truth? Interesting perspective. I always heard that the truth will set you free. Was that a lie? Is it - the truth will imprison you?

So truth would say that we better prepare for 4 beatdowns - LSU, Bama, USCe, and Arkansas. Or we could Bobby McFerrin it and be happy while it happens. Somehow I don't see that happening over the next several weeks.

Truth would say that this coaching staff needs to quit being the source of major problems. There are enough players issues without having to deal with the coaches too.
