Tip my hat to appy state!

App state looked good for sure as most of the people I spoke with said. We just looked bad. Mistakes, bad choices, and just sloppy. It seemed like all the calls were going against us to boot. To top it off some lucky breaks prob won us the game.

There were bright spots and lots of em and I truly believe if they clean up the dumb choices/mistakes and play cleaner and when they start using Dobbs full bore on the ground I think they can be good. This better be a wake up call cause even tho I'll tip my hat to App state, they're not near what we fixn to face.

It's still a win

Go *#+*^* Vols!

Better coached, played better, played tougher, gave more tonight.

Good team that ran out of gas.

Glad we won.

They showed up prepared and ready to win. Showed no fear at all walking into our house and giving us all we could handle. To think we paid them for this game. Somebody needs to learn how to schedule an easy win for the opener so I can relax and sing Rocky Top obnoxiously loud, not sit around fretting and wishing I had moonshine instead of beer.

App St. had a good game plan and they executed it for the most part. They had their breaks at the beginning of the game and we had ours at the end. But there was sloppiness on both sides of the ball for UT which made Appy look better than they actually are. I hope they win out in their conference, but if we don't fix our mistakes then we are in for a very forgettable season.

This game showed that with the right chemistry and a couple breaks a bad team can look like a great team.

Every time I want to think this, I remember the 15 phantom injuries in the 4th quarter and simply can't have much respect for a team that pulls that crap.

They were an outmanned team that is extremely well coached and IMO should have won this game. They came in and outplayed an upper level SEC team and beat us everywhere except in the amount of points.

Like bowling green last year, they are going to surprise people.

They really let it all out for this game. They used they're whole playbook it seems.

I expect them to beat Miami pretty easily. Wouldn't surprise me at all
