I used to think that Richardson was being groomed for the role. But the season Thomas is putting out has reminded me what it looks like when you have somebody out there who knows what he's doing. The only person who would replace Thomas would be James, and that would be a permanent switch sort of deal.

The only way Tiny gets to LT (this year) is if somebody gets hurt or if somebody gets hurt. Only in the stretch run could I see the left-to-right lineup of James/Jackson/Bullard/Stone/Richardson. But that's really just a Plan F scenario. There's a lot of other things that have to go wrong before it comes to starting two FR, but FR who are better than anybody else on the roster.

The roster says Tiny is 6'6'" 325lbs? Unless he is just a terrible blocker, why would you not play him?
I know he is a freshman but jeez, don't see how he could do much worse run blocking than the current starters.
-9 yards for a D1 team in the SEC is an epic fail!

Not saying, just saying.

Yeah, the rush stat is embarrassing, but everytime someone quotes it they do it out of frustration. I agree the run game sucked, but you can't take a stat like that one for that game for face value. Bray got sacked for an asanine amount of yardage.

Cam Clear played some at TE at the end of the game against Montana and got in for a play or 2 against Cincinnati. He also is on the kickoff return team.

Why was that? Because our o-line didn't block... I say give him a shot.

Because every RB we have would just run right into him.

I think it will be next year before we see Tiny start. The SKEETER said that his pass protection is suspect but his run blocking is on par. He is already one of the strongest cats on the team... a good full year with McKeffery and some solid coaching and no one is keeping him of the field next year JMO

Tiny's strength will get him on the field at some point - i was not a big Dthomas fan coming into the year but he has held up well in pass protection so not sure i would bench him but i do think Tiny will see time somewhere in the rotation this year
