1 less Gump on the staff can't be all bad.

VFL...GBO!!!
Don't usually try to follow VN logic but you have my curiosity. (Along with those that liked your post)
He was born in Pittsburgh.
Played college ball in Pittsburgh.
Then straight to Canada for pro career.
To FSU as QA
Then to TN as QA...
And that made him a Gump?

Not so much with this hire, but ole Nick seems like he's trying to turn Bama into the place for resurrecting coaching careers. See below-
Sarkisian- fired HC at USC, fired OC after 2 seasons with the Falcons
Butch- you know the story
Kyle Flood- fired HC at Rutgers who left with a 1 year show-cause penalty
Sal Sunseri- you know his story at UT
Reportedly, Mike Stoops, former DC at OU

When does he hire Schiano?

After only one year we have already lost how many coaches on this staff? Good grief. Can we not just get a year or 2 of stability? Apparently not.

This is an analyst. We lost an OC who took a HC gig and replaced him with a more proven successful OC who doesn’t have designs on being a HC. That spot’s more stable. We lost our safeties and ST coach for a promotion at Bama and he was hired mainly for his recruiting chops. We filled that spot on the staff with a two time Recruiter of the Year. And Tino was an analyst. Apparently you like to bit**.

I know. I just wish we could have a little stability for Pruitt.

Bamers gonna bamer. Will the last potato-head bamer leaving Knoxville be sure to turn out the lights.

Who in the hell thought it was a good idea to bring a Sinseri back to Knoxville?

He was the guy who got us into the recruitment of Wanya Morris. If my recollection is accurate, Tino contacted Morris’ mom after he got hired at UT & got her to reconsider. Morris’ family had visited under CBJ & in a video she said there was no way she was allowing him to come to UT. He got us back in the door, thankfully.

Going to be coaching with his dad and brother at Bama next year.

He was QC Analyst here at UT in 2018. You may remember his dad Sal was our DC back in 2012 (now coaching Bama LBs), and his brother Vinnie is a GA at Bama as well.

I wish him the personal best.

May?

Who the hell thought it was a bad idea to bring Tino to Knoxville? He didn't hurt the program any and he helped in recruiting, (biggest reason he was here.)
