Well, with no bowl game, I assume that everyone has more free time on their hands right? Or not? My real question is what do you think are probably the best offseason tactics that the Vols need to work on right now, seeing that we get no extra bowl-game practices?Recruiting? More involvment in programs like Vol-For-Life? So what do you think Vol Nation?

If it were me....

1. Get the house in order and young attitudes straightened up. Need some leaders next year.

2. Recruit, recruit, recruit

3. Let the strength coach do his thing

- Bring out a mean streak in the offensive linemen
- Work on keeping your locker room stable and inviting for the players
- Get a ST coach and work on the technique of the kicker and punter. They've got it in them to be good; they just don't look like they worked on special teams much this year.

Those are the 3 things I'd do if I was Dooley, and these are the three things you need to do if the team is going to see any sort of progression in year 3 of the Dooley era.

T boyd fits that system better. I'm not sure he would have done well here. Could be wrong, but we'll never find out now will we?
