Time to fess up.. who missed the end of the game?

I admit, the thought crossed my mind to turn off the TV last night when we went down 14 late in the fourth quarter. Losing hurts. Luckily, I watched until the sweet end.

I also admit that I was picking up my things to leave the 1998 Arkansas game with a couple of minutes left, but my son would not let me.

Just wondering if anyone will admit to turning off the game before the miraculous comeback. I am sure some did.
I watched the whole thing, but turned off my dvr when we went down by 14 towards the end... shat my pants when I realized I forgot to turn it back on when we were driving to tie the game... ughhh. .still makes me mad..

I was watching two big screens I set up to watch the ole miss and TN games. I will NEVER give up on TENNESSEE! Oh, and it was 9:00 am Sunday morning!

I was watching but drove home with 5 min remaining.. When I got home my little sister texted so excited about the win.. I was pissed that I missed it because I always watch the whole thing... Good thing I recorded it.

I am still amazed at how man fans left at halftime when the game was still very close and a great game... Then once USC went up by 14 the first and second time more and more took off, I was so glad a good number of Vol fans stayed to support the team!

You should've seen the cock fans faces that did stay... They went from smiling and talking a little to stone faced, visibly nervous and then full on scared and finally just completely devastated at what they'd just seen... It was great!

I watched it, but I about crapped my pants after I heard we beat ND in 91; I turned it off just before the half.

I stuck with it to the end and I'm glad I did. It's funny, but I didn't even celebrate when the SC kicker missed. I just kept waiting for a flag or some other thing that would take away the victory and make it a loss instead. So it took a minute for me to start celebrating.

Now the Ole Miss game I did stop watching late in the 3rd quarter. And that's probably the only time in years that I did not keep watching until the end.

Oh I was throwing stuff around my room.... then praying.... then dancing around the room in my boxers when we won as my wife just stood there and shook her head

I missed whole game but sat in a sports bar on a cruise ship just watching the score ticker for score updates. Bright side is it gave me an excuse to drink a lot of beer! A USCe fan and myself chatted just waiting till the end. At one point i said I will be glad when we get over that hump and he said he would like to get to where we have been someday! lol

Watched it to the end. Usually do and was richly awarded this time. Good comeback Vols!

I was with a group at a sports bar and my group was all wanting to leave at the end/start of the 4th and hit some bars. I said no I don't leave games early when I'm there or on tv. Needles to say they were thanking me I made them stay, We partied after that.

got on a flight from hong kong to chicago when the score was tied 21-21. 14 hours later i land and first text that came up was from my brother saying we kicked the old ball coach in his sack.

I watched it all the way to the end but I did tell my girlfriend Tennessee blew another lead and it sucks to lose again in a game I thought we'd win and told her that we'd watch a show together right after the game. I kept watching and had the best weekend ever from the game to now so it was very worth it.

The real reason I posted here is that some old guy I work with is originally from Ohio and constantly says "If it ain't Big Ten Football, it ain't football" apparently not realizing that they're the worst "power" conference in football these days. And in addition, he doesn't like Tennessee at all and knows that I love them.

So I walk into work this morning and the first thing he brings up is "Tennessee loses again! I told you they would!" and I said, "Oh, did you watch the game?" and he goes "No but I saw the score there at the end and they were gettin their butt kicked." I said "That's true, but they didn't lose that game. They came back and won actually!" His eyes got real big and he thought I was joking until another old guy I work with who doesn't watch football said "He's not joking, I saw it on the news Sunday morning, they came back and won somehow."

The other guy just didn't know what to say after that and shut up and didn't say another negative thing about the Vols all day.

Oh yeah and my girlfriend had me rub one of our baby bunnies feet for good luck when it was 42-35. It worked! We all banded our superstitions together it sounds like and got rewarded :p

My brother left the bar he was at after the Wild td... He was able to listen to overtime tho.

I watched it till the end. But I will admit, I left the UT vs Texas basketball game at halftime years ago... I learned my lesson after that.

I was still in my seat in the stadium listening to Cock fans tell me good bye and laughing. I got to watch them cry and leave. I was the one laughing. It's great to be a TENNESSEE VOL!!

I've heard this recently about opposing fans. Last year I took a friend of mine and his son (17 years old) to the UF/TN basketball game. The kid literally said nothing the entire game. A woman behind me from UT said "Wipe the F'ing smirk off your face kid" and you'd have to understand this kid.. He did nothing. I turned around and just said "Hey, chill out" And for the next hour I got bombarded with vulgarity, up in my face from her and her boyfriend telling me I wasn't a true fan just because I said to chill out. My response that my family had owned UT basketball tix (those seats no doubt) since the day TBA opened and Stokely prior to that were not listened to.

TN fans suck too. They are everywhere

I was texting with a UGA fan while watching the game on tv, and when we fell behind by 14 she was telling me 'too bad', 'hahaha', and 'oh well they tried hard'. I stayed positive and said 'There's plenty of time, it's not over yet'. By the time we came back and won, she wasn't answering my texts anymore.

I almost did. When Wilds scored to make it 42-28, local time was like 4 in the morning. I had the remote in my hand and something told me 'stick with it', so I laid the remote down and sat back on the couch.

My Grandma Pat was a VERY proud 1958 graduate of the University of Tennessee, and is the sole reason I bleed Orange to this day. I looked up and said 'a'ight, Grandma Pat.....let's see what these fellas got"......right before Dobbs' TD..

Didn't move a muscle after that, LOL.

We also did that at the Arkansas game. Just made it into the tunnel when Stoerner put it on the ground.

We were in nosebleed at the target end zone. For some reason we'd moved to the very top and started looking down towards you folks filing out. When Ratliff recovered we began laughing semi-hysterically, yelling down "Get back in here, you losers!! You call yourselves fans!?? IT. AIN'T. OVER!! and continued admonishing with each Henry run.
A great football moment.
