Mathews Next four games:

South Carolina:
Rather play good Offensive team than good defensive team. Will need to score points to win. Will have a chance.

Kentucky:
Are much better. Will be a tough game.

Good opportunity against Mizzou and Vandy,

Should win 3 of last 4.

Big Picture:

Just in year 2. Still need more talent and experience to compete.

There are going to be ups and downs with inconsistency.

Dobbs showed he can play in a big game and should become a good player for us.

After last night, is more encouraged about the future of this team than before.

Running game improved because we gave our Oline a chance to come off the ball for once.

If we can get all those rushing yards against bama, then we should do very well against the remaining four teams. And if they bring more help against the rush, then we will finally start getting those huge pass plays that we have been lacking.

TN 43 rushes and 36 passes.

Only gave up 2 sacks.

AJ went the wrong way on the first play for Bama.

Worley's not a terrible QB, but our offensive line can do little to protect a non mobile QB.

Cam Sutton was not on Cooper much due to how Bama schemes.

This. Some tool reporter posted an article about how Cooper 'abused' Sutton, when Sutton wasn't even the one covering him most of the time. He did slip on the 41 yd td but he wasn't covering him on any of the previous throws which was the 80 yd td and those other intermediate throws. That was Williams and Coleman getting lit up. Poor Williams got torched.

Just think if we had that FR DE from aTm (Garrett?) to pair with Barnett this year. We'd be getting as many sacks as we are receiving!
