Time for a new coach

Time to let Dave Hart know that we appreciate his efforts; but UT no longer needs his presence. Go get David Blackburn and let's get this corrected immediately.

Better coaches are available. Les Miles and Charlie Strong would run circles around Butch Jones. He needs to go coach a Pee Wee team somewhere in Michigan. UT deserves a coach who can prepare our talent to play in the SEC. Butch Jones is an embarrassment to the University of Tennessee.

Time for butch to go lay bricks somewhere else. Can't rely on offense to score 50+ every week.

Too much sand in the mortar.

iam done i want go to another game or spend any more of my money on tn gear till he is gone i usally go to 4 games a year buy at least 400 dollars a year buying stuff but no more .
i know it aint much but if we all show this is not acceptable it will make a diff

As bad as I hate to say this I agree. No way we should be 8-4 even with the injuries. Same can be said with OC & DC. They don't know how to coach SEC football either.

Why didn't CBJ just take the FG there & then on-side kick the ball? We were gonna need 11 points regardless of how we got it. Take the 3 & on-side kick it. An elementary school teacher would know this.

This just proved to me that CBJ doesn't know how to coach in the SEC or make the right decisions. It's time for a completely new bunch now. :eek:

You dogs should worship the ground that he walks on! WHen he took over we hadn't been to a bowl game in years! Now we are a consistently bowl eligible team, ah geez I can't even joke around any longer it's so sad.

Sad part is we won't fix this mess, we will hold on until it's too late and all of the accomplished coaches are gone. Even if Kelly comes back to college coaching we will just sit with ol Butchy boy until it's too late and 8-4, 6-6 is the norm.

We were outcoached by Mason and his staff. Their second half adjustments were much better than ours. That tells me its time to move on. This will have an adverse effect on recruiting. Butch is feeling the pressure and it is showing.

I agree but it's not our style. We'll flail around for another 3 years until recruiting completely goes in the tank. Then, we'll get around to hiring another mid-major hero because no top shelf coaches will want to take over a dumpster fire.

You dont kick the FG on 4th down. WHY?? Everyone knows you do that and then onside kick it. We have lived on the edge all year. Then lose to both SC and Vandy after beating Florida and Ga. Unbelievable!!!

Butch is a good man.

Butch is a good recruiter.

Butch is a good motivator.

Butch doesn't have a clue.

I don't care if we hire a HS coach, I want a coach with a plan. I want a coach with a vision that goes beyond just making head coach. We are stuck with this guy for one more year. We need an AD that will come in and let CBJ know that improvement must be made our he will be gone before the bowl game assuming we make one.

Agree..I have been supporting Butch all season but this game, and especially the end of the game when he chose NOT to kick the FG showed me he is way over his head. If we don't hire a real football coach I'm done purchasing season tix and I have been a season ticket holder for 24 years
