I've seen all I need to see. Jon Crompton, orange blood and all, sucks. Plain and simple. Nothing personal, but he sucks. He's a liability to our offense; opposing defenses know, and adjust to, what we seem unable to realize: Jon Crompton sucks.

It literally cannot get any worse at QB. Try Stephens...try the guy from CA...hell, try Monte...it literally...seriously...can't get any worse.

We're 5-7, again, with Crompton. What do we have to lose by taking a different route?

The recievers seem to have just given up cause they know every ball is going to be behind them. If he does make a good pass they are so surprised that they miss it. Good return nuke

Not only the quarterback but the WR SUCK TOO!!!! Gerald Jones and D. Moore and Hancock have dropped like 20 balls tonight!!!

Crompton sucks. WR don't help much. Looking at the schedule, who can we beat with this offense? Lets make a change

I have stood behind CLK on his decision to leave in JC, and ride it out.

That being said.

Have you seen Coleman play this year? Even my 75 year old mother who goes to every UTC home game will tell you that Coleman's release is way too slow to play in the SEC.

JC might me a good kid, but he is garbage as a QB. He just does not have it. It's not all his fault, but we looked like a** tonight. If Nick cannot come in now and replace JC what makes the coaches or fans think he's gonna be good enough for next year? If we are this bad, just make the damn change. This team has given up on JC and it shows. For team belief a change to someone anyone/anything is needed! UT class of 93'..GO VOLS

i love how during game week, everyone is all about being there for crompton.but game day LOL is a different story. those who expected a good season this year should not have counted your chickens before they hatched

Our WRs suck; I haven't been buying CLK's comments until tonight. He's right, it isn't not all on JC.

Okay, I have been all about giving Crompton a fair shake, but I think it's time to make the change, it can't hurt us. I think we get maybe three more wins this season, which is fine because we're rebuilding, but two years from now we better be playing for the SEC east.

It's our entire offense (with the exception of our TBs). Without Vlad and McNeil, our OL is Vandy-like. We have TWO walk-ons starting tonight with the Sullins, and the one playing center has flubbed quite a few snaps this year. Our wide recievers are clueless and our qb is "special."

I mean, this is what it is. We are not good. It's not only that our qb's not clicking. We've been able to win games in the past relying completely on our running game, but not this year because we don't have the ability anywhere.

Coleman is not SEC material. That is why he is at UTC. With that McCallie education, the kid could've at least gone to Wake if he had D1 ability, but he doesn't.

Just like Ingle Martin at Furman a few years ago. He was all american at D1aa, but in the SEC, his greatest achievement was being the specialty punter.

I'm sure Ingle was a good kid, but he was behind Florida's Tight End on the depth chart.

Same goes for BJ. I'm all for UTC (I've been to every B-Ball home game for the last 25 years) to have a successful program, and for BJ to do great things there.

But, HOW MANY TIMES DOES IT HAVE TO BE SAID THAT HE WAS NOT SEC MATERIAL. His footwork and release are terrible. Fulmer said as much, and Kiffin apparently shared that opinion. NOBODY ELSE WANTED HIM.

Nobody else even offered him a scholarship. NOT EVEN LOUISVILLE. VANDY WASN'T EVEN INTERESTED.



Not only that, he runs home to fat Mark Weidmer and the TFP homers and cries to them.

Really funny that when the game went into the 4th quarter this thread just died. Crompton made a few plays and the naysayers got quiet, perfect example of fair weather fans.

Not only "fair weather fans", but, and I hate to admit it, but "really stupid football fans".

I've come to the conclusion that many of the posters here have no concept or understanding of the game. To verify, simply read some of the posts... :fool:
