Some of our posters must have went to Yale, whine and moan about everything. We didn't play perfect but nobody but bama does. We have had a ton of injuries, breakdowns and giving up the big play was the main thing. At times we played pretty good on defense. GBO!!!!!! Some vol fans will be whining if we're headed to Atlanta. GBO!!!!

Im not saying I don't want to win the east. The argument is these fans who HONESTLY think we will not be embarrassed by Bama. Do I want us to go to Atlanta. Hell yeah. My statements are targeted towards these delusional fans who think it will be a different outcome. By all accounts it will be worse. Our defense is so gassed that Kentucky looked like the Nebraska teams of the 80s running on us. I would rather not be destroyed a second time is all. But yes I want us to win the east.

Bob Shoop's buyout is 2.3 million dollars. That is the remainder of his contract.

In the second half it looked like our defense relaxed after we got the big lead. Also we are missing our defensive tackles and we have a lot of injuries at the wing linebacker spot. It's not all on Shoop but he's not going anywhere, regardless.

Agree, 450yds on the ground to any team is embarrassing! TNs defense definitely looks worse this year. I commend Butch for making the change after our many 4th qtr collapses under Janeck. However, after a year of seeing what shoop can do, Janeck was definitely better. Sure hope we win out & FL beats LSU next week. TN just does not have the personnel to challenge the west opponent.

Yet back 7 were constantly out of position and beaten on the edge.

Why are you even a volunteer fan all you do is make negative post. This is a great team to follow win or lose because they are Tennessee Vols and I support them no matter what

Most of us will support till we die,but we are in bad need of good coaching on both sides of the ball.

He and the others have a miserable life and being ultra critical of the Vols makes them feel better about themselves! Three of four DT's are gone, Maybin-gone, Berry our 3rd or 4th string LB is starting, Kirkland misses 5 games and is still getting in the swing of how he has played earlier in the year.

Other teams have one or two injuries and they get a pass but that doesn't work here. I'm totally with you on wishing some of these guys would quit pretending to be a Vol fan and go to their favorite team, Alabama. They are the only team able to meet their standards..

Tim Priest played here and still holds multiple defensive records. He is a very intelligent man that knows the game of football and what it takes to play in the SEC. His credentials far outweighs yours and he is more qualified to make a statement like this than anyone one here that hasn't played for UT.

It's one thing to question one of us posters. But Tim Priest is as Vol as you get. When he questions the performance,you gotta ask yourself why you don't see the same thing.

No decent defense should be getting gashed by average RBs for 70+ yd runs.

They had only 22 points with five minutes left. Two garbage time scores with game easily in hand. No real DT's left. First year and D is not even installed because of injuries. We won who gives a crap?

Dude, grow a pair. It don't mean she-ite if it's Bammer or an NFL team in the SEC Championship game. You win the East, you go and give it your best shot. And you play to the end of the whistle in every game in order to win the East so you can go. Bammer may whip us 100-0. And we could get healthy and give them a run for their money. Hell, Wake Forest is beating Louisville 12-zip right now. And Pitt beat Clemson today. Our young players will benefit from the game, probably learn how a championship team handles themselves. Quit being a wuss.

Even if that's true, which I don't believe has always been the case, who cares?

For example, 700 yards vs TAM is 700 yards vs TAM, no matter when it happened.

I would also point out that our first half failings vs Florida was due to our players dropping 6 passes....otherwise, we would've never needed that 38-0 offensive run because we probably would've scored 14-17 points in the first half rather than none. He called a very good game all four quarters that day and it wasn't his fault the players executed very poorly the entire first half.
