He threw 50 times.
10.2 yards per attempt. (beats Bray in a head-head in all games but Buffalo and Montana)
16.45 yards per completion. (beats Bray in a head-head in all games but Montana)
62% completion rate against a Top 15 team.
0 turnovers against a Top 15 team.
Bray's numbers against a #16 ranked Gators were not as good from a stat sheet. We all know there were a lot of drops and one drop resulted in an INT and that Bray was fielding snaps at his feet which cut his read/commit/throw time down by about 30% and was doing this without his #1 receiver and no run game to be seen... but almost everyone else in the nation is going to see:
6 yards per attempt.
288 yards.
54% completion rate.
3 TDs.
2 INTs.
Wilson has played well this year, regardless of how many times he throws the ball, he's been very productive. If Bray does better against Bama than Wilson did and does very well against UGA and USC, Bray will be the concensus #1 QB in the SEC.
As of right now, the pundits have ground to stand on in that Bray has been marginalized against good competition.
