"Pleasant surprise". Perfect description. Reaffirms what good coaching can do. Our lack of talent will be magnified against the likes of UGA, Bama, etc, but we won't look like the keystone cops. The kids will know what they're doing. I'm looking forward to seeing them operate with a full roster and better talent. What a pleasant surprise. I was nervous that he was a Co-DC and may not have had a huge roll. I’ve been so impressed with what he’s done with way less than a full compliment of players.
Yes that was also my biggest worry when he was hired since almost all of his years as DC have been as a Co-DC. Sometimes it’s hard to tell who the real architect is with those Co positions but I’m glad it’s working out. I love his aggressive style of defense. What a pleasant surprise. The previous coach was a BOZO, hires by a bigger BOZO athletic director. I am with you; Cutcliffe was the success behind CPF...Funny how much better the defense looks under an offensive minded head coach than it did with a supposed defensive guru.
Pruitt is the most overhyped POS in football. And Fulmer proved without a doubt how clueless he was without Cutcliffe around by hiring Pruitt.
