Tim Banks is gone

For whatever reason, many people are under the impression that Martinez coaches the safeties, when he doesn’t. That was Banks. Despite our injuries, the safeties were the weak point of our defense this year.
Yep...got in an argument 4 weeks ago with a guy...He said it wasn't Banks coaching the safeties, it was some analyst they brought it that is coaching them. Lol

Missed the boat on Zach Arnett, so go after Knowles, Haynes (although he's not leaving IU), Shiel Wood.
Maybe able to get Kwiatkowski from Texas is the Sark bails for NFL.

IF you stay in house it has to be Inge.
I feel like Inge wanted to be more forceful with discipline but also didn't want to overstep his boss.

Other than that - who are the realistic candidates?

Mark Mangino so they have to renovate the press box to fit him.

To be fair that would make more sense based up their play this season.

It's not incorrect. Ala,Fla,Ky,Arky,Miss St and all 4 non conference offense's sucked. Which of those teams had a great offense. Definitely not ALa, seeing as how they demoted their OC. Can't wait to hear this answer! I've looked at last year's offensive rankings, I suggest you do before responding!
Arkansas had the #2 offense in the SEC last year and Alabama was #7 in the SEC by Total YPG. Bama was #3 and Arkansas #6 in PPG. Perhaps you should take your own advice.

Heupel gonna promote him to DC?
Def not. Starters in LB room are BJM’s guys, right? Arion has been pretty good but JT is not good enough playing in space. But look at the young LBs in the room and the 26 class coming in. Let’s see how the guys develop for at least another year.

As far as who we hire— I believe the fans will be happy with it.

Surprised and relieved to see this. Best wishes to coach Banks and his family; this can’t be a good feeling. However, I'm glad we finally have some major evidence that Heupel is willing to make the necessary tough calls in order to improve as a program.

Again, best of luck to CTB in the future, it was just time for a change.
Hearing Heupel was pushed to make the decision.

In the spirit of the season......

"Merry Christmas" and "God Bless us Everyone!"

And in the spirit of Wicked and The Wizard of Oz......

"Ding Dong the witch is dead"
