Tim Banks defense...

...carried us today along with special teams. Can some of you stop calling for him to be fired after an opponent has one good drive?
I've always said the problem is either him or Martinez.
And I think Banks is a solid DC but don't feel he brings consistency to win championships unless we find another Hooker.
But again cut loose Martinez and we'll see.
The secondary has been really good for consecutive weeks. We'll see how they hold up on Milroe's deep ball.

This. Yall can check my post history if you'd like...i never trash Banks. Even last season with the worst secondary in the SEC we were at the top of the conference in TFL and were stout against the run. He is a proven coach and has developed our talent well and schemed well also. The SC game last season is his only really bad game.

Martinez however is a different story.

D played well and is definitely improving, but we still see questionable play calls from Banks too often.

Played great. In the first half I think banks was blitzing too much though considering how good the front four is.

2 interceptions excellent tackling gives up 13 points. Just what the heck you want
Simplest of things.

DBs turning their heads.
Db's not playing 10 yards off every play.
Db's using the sideline leverage.

U know...the stuff ur taught by a competent DB coach in high school.
