If you've never been there, you need to see it at least once. Copper Hill & Ducktown are overlooked places where they could have shot a Star Trek episode.

Especially back in the 60's & 70's when it looked like the moon. No trees what so ever, it was say strange looking to say the least but it's still a neat place to visit for the history of copper mining.

And I am sure there are some folks up there that call it home that are pretty cool folks. But the landscape? Even if trees are growing now, still passable as a post apocalyptic battleground.
