late July or early August before Tennessee releases single game tickets for sale. they are trying to get season ticket holders to purchase addiitonal season tickets or upgrade their current tickets to better seats. that process will take a while.

Hey I would be all for buying season tickets...I have in the past 4 years I have lived here...but I have a problem with the so called tickets that don’t pay seat tax...people that was grandfathered before ST...that are dead...the family still buying the tickets....I think they should require a pulse to re-up tickets that are grandfathered in...I am all about fair for all and not just some...It may not be true but I believe that if all paid seat tax it would be cheaper...maybe not? ...just UT would make more money...I guess I could just be naïve.

I'll be looking to get some cheap fla tickets on gameday as usual, from tailgate areas.
There are always good deals way below face value.

Wait until the day of the game and buy them on the street for $15. Last year my buddy bout 4 for the FL game for 60 and they threw in a parking pass.

Seat tax would not be cheaper if all paid it. It would just be more $$$ to the university.

Yup. Tickets prices will never go down. Many of those tickets are in PRIME areas that when passed down to the existing family members, are taken by the AD and then you are offered some in a different section. Ours were taken that way and we were told at the time that we would have to get in the "back" of the season ticket line and move to the upper deck. My wifes' family had had the tickets for over 30 years. We told them :finger3:

the pass down to family members stopped years ago. the only way I can get tickets into otehr family members names, is for them to pay the donation. I could put my tickets into anyone's name. All that would be required is for that person to pay the donation and they would be theirs.

I checked on this 10-12 years ago and that was what they told me then.

Times have changed. I remember in 98 I paid 70 dollars upper level for the Arkansas game. Two years ago I paid 15 dollars lower level for the Ole Miss. game. Never thought I would sit down there.

Same here sadly. Everybody has that price in there head where you will go here, but no further. We could afford it but were just not gonna pay that much. Our family had 5 pairs for a total donation of $1000 plus tickets for over 30 years. I was willing to go 500 per pair but they wanted $1000. So we said no thank you. We will just buy individuals for others who are not using them. Its sad though because I grew up around the folks in section G and remember many of there children when they were young tykes.

So your buddy found this great deal in Gainesville?

You always hear this BS and I'm not saying that it doesn't happen. I've paid $20 for tickets right before kickoff against sc but its an exception. If you want lowers to UF you'll likely shell out $80-$125 a ticket. Some scalpers will be asking $200. Ive never paid more than $125 and that was against a top 5 match up against Auburn on ESPN prime time.

does any one know where box II seats are

Back in the day in the South endzone (where II is) the 1st 2-3 rows were box seats. I'm not sure if there is a box II that's different, though. BTW, if you're waist is over a 36, your @ss isn't getting into those box seats.
