If this is already addressed in another thread my apologies and feel free to merge but I didn't see anything similar.

I have a question regarding tickets that have already been purchased through sites like TickPick and Stubb Hubb. I got a wild hair a while back and purchased my son and I tickets for the Bama game because I believe this will be the year if the game is played!!!
I'm not worried about losing my money. I think their refund policy will apply if we get bumped due to capacity restrictions, but my question is; Is there any clarity on how that will play out? Who gets to go who doesn't?

Tickets were never issued through the ticket office that I know of, just seat assignments. So if I'm not mistaken the tickets you purchased are void.

Thats what I thought too, but they still show up as arriving "soon" on the site and theyare still selling them, and the price for the same section has now just about doubled.?.?.?

True, I knew it was a gamble of whether their would be a game, tickets available etc. My son had a blast at a game last year and I was willing to gamble on it for this game. Just seems to be a lot of uncertainty about how anyone proceeds....

You'll get a refund if the tickets have been voided that you bought... it may take 30 days or so to get a refund. The stub hubs and tick picks of the world all have policies to protect buyers... generally they will pay you and recoup the sale from the buyer. they'll try to get you to accept a credit on the account of like 110% or 120% or so... but I would take the cash.

Yeah, good luck with that. I would personally like to see these type of sites go under. They are a major reason why tickets to all sporting events have gotten insanely expensive. Organizations and venues will gladly sell a majority of their tickets to these sites at face value. These sites then turnaround and try to charge a minimum of double for the same ticket. This practice also relieves the organizations and venues the need to administer/market the ticket sales, all the while proclaiming the event as a sellout. The fans are the ones that get left holding the bag.

If they cancel the game i think the same thing will happen for my rtansaction. The event is still scheduled and for the same date. It’s the reduced capacity that muddies things up. I just hope we get to go! Looking forward to this one!

I agree, I had an LG for less than a month before it went out completely. I now avoid anything LG...pieces of $hit.

Meanwhile, I have a Sony that's been going for 9 yrs and a Vizio that's been going for 6+. Not OLED, but I feel like I'm getting what I paid for with those.

I LOVE the OLED, which there is a noticeable difference, however my next would probably be QLED from Samsung. Sucks when the screen tint is red and I see the SEC Network logo in the center and the burn in of all the damn scrollers at the bottom.

I bought 4 tickets to the Florida game back in april/may through vivid and received an email that stated I would be receiving a 110% credit to my account or had 7 days to contact them for a full refund.

UPDATE:
Just received notice that my “event” was canceled. I’ll be requesting my refund. I do no not think their will be an event to use their 110% credit on.
