Your donation doesnt. The tickets however...
When I started purchasing season tickets, I was told the price always remains the same, never going up or down for that matter. I will raise hell if my tickets go up!
TIFWIW...I called the ticket office yesterday regarding this subject.
They told me that the decision had not been made to raise the ticket prices.
Apparently there has been that discussion though. I was told that if they raise the ticket prices, it would be a maximum of $10 for entire season. Basically $1.5 dollars per game.
Again, TIFWIW.
You ether misheard or was lied to. Donation is locked at a set price as long as they dont put in luxury seats in your section but not tickets. Cost of living is going to always go up after time.When I started purchasing season tickets, I was told the price always remains the same, never going up or down for that matter. I will raise hell if my tickets go up!
How is her memory? $420 each seat for everyone last several years or someone is paying extra $200 on her account.I asked the question, they said no. A little old lady sits next to me and she said she uses the same tickets from her grand daddy and pays $220 for each seat + donation. I guess we'll see what happens.
**Edit** has anyone with season tickets saw a price increase in the past?

I use to feel same way until I donated $2400 last season and still a person donating a $100 could have same parking as me..parking passes is overrated! I have donated on and off for past 15 years and can get decent parking in public or decent parking pass game week without spending extra 1000s... heck I spent and average of $60 each at G10 on stubhub on the 3 crappy games before season even started.In my twenty years as a ticketholder the ticket price went up almost every year. Donation stayed the same but there was always a feeling that more meant better chances at decent parking.
Nah. Let Haslam pay it. He wanted that discount price... now let him pay the bill.With the millions to pay off butch and his assistants and millions more for the new coach, UT will be jacking up the prices of everything, including tickets, booster fees, concessions, and merchandise. They need lots of money!
So as if $95 for 'premium' games like Florida, Alabama, Georgia, etc. weren't enough....And the second tier games like Missouri and Kentucky being between $60 and $75...oh and the OOC games like UTEP, ETSU, UTC, etc. are $35....what gives? Where could you possibly raise prices after an 0-8 yr in the SEC?! And keep in mind those are the STH prices...add another $10-15 per ticket for single game.
Good God, my couch is looking better and better each year. Raise prices and they can have my tickets back...sorry but **** 'em.
So for my wife and I to go to 1 premium game = $220 for tickets, $30 for gas, $50 for food, $20 for beer, $30 for parking, $100 for hotel. Not to mention all the other things involved such as fighting traffic, crappy weather, etc....yeah no thanks.
Stay at home = $0 for ticket, $0 for gas, $10 for food that I cooked at home, $20 for beer, $0 for parking, $0 to sleep in my own bed.
Savings = $420
No brainer...I'm tired of prices being raised for nothing.
